Organic gardening Tip of the week 🌱

Remember how in the last newsletter we talked about late summer planting fun?
Guess what? We've got the exact makes and varieties for you, so you can easily get started!
Even though it's late August, there's still plenty of time to sow yummy veggies right through August.
And you don't need an allotment—your back garden is perfect!
Use tubs, containers, or even grow bags to create your mini veg garden.
1. Peas: Douce Provence
In milder climates, they can be grown almost all year long. Imagine harvesting peas in the winter—how cool is that?
2. Carrots: Eskimo F1 Seeds
Carrot Eskimo is perfect for harvesting fresh from your garden in the depths of winter.
Check out our podcast 3 for tips on growing carrots!
3. Cabbage: WINTER TUNDRA F1
One of the best and hardiest winter cabbages! Very frost-hardy and matures quickly.
4. Chard: BRIGHT LIGHTS
A prolific grower with a long cropping season, this cool-weather veggie withstands all but the hardest frosts.
5. Kale: NERO DI TOSCANA
Also known as Black Russian, this Italian kale has long, tight, heavily blistered leaves of dark green.
So grab some seeds, get your hands dirty, and let's see what we can grow together! 🌱
